TUNA AND TOMATO SOUP (For 4 – 6 People)
● 1 box (160 gr) Fide Tuna
●800 g Chopped tomatoes (1 canned jar)
●1 teaspoon sweet powdered pepper
● 2 tablespoons of Butter
● 2 tablespoons of flour
● 2 celery stalks, chopped small
● 2 Glasses of Water
● Let’s cut 3 thin slices from 1 Fresh Ginger, chop them into small pieces or grate a teaspoon.
● 1 clove of garlic, chopped small
● 1 teaspoon of honey
● You can add 1 teaspoon of salt and a pinch of black pepper according to your taste.
FABRICATIONWe add two tablespoons of butter to a pot and melt it over low heat, add 2 tablespoons of flour and roast it until it turns creamy to milky brown. When it reaches the consistency we want, we add finely chopped ginger and 2 small sprigs of celery leaves and cook it over low heat, stirring, for another minute or two.
Then we add our chopped tomatoes, finely chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon of ground pepper and a teaspoon of honey and cook, stirring, over low heat for another 5 minutes.
We add 2 glasses of water and mix it with a blender for 2 minutes to get a smooth consistency.
We crumble 160 grams of Fide Tuna in our hands and add it to the pot. After boiling for a while, it is ready to be served with fresh coriander leaves and croutons. Enjoy your meal
